  3. 1 ” ginger chopped
  4. 2-3 green chilies chopped
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  10. 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  11. As required Oil to shallow fry
  12. As per taste Salt
  13. as required Coriander leaves, sliced onions to garnish

Instructions to make to make Masoor Dal Kabab

  1. In a wok heat oil, add cumin seeds when it splutters, add chopped onion, chopped ginger and chopped green chilies. Stir for 2-3 mins
  2. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Stir for 1 min and add Dal. Cook for 4-5 mins
  3. Add salt and add 1/2 cup water. On low flame cook until Dal is completely cooked
  4. Set aside. Cool and add to the blender. Blend smooth
  5. Add bread crumbs in one plate and the blended Masoor Dal on one. Make Tikki̢۪s and smear with bread crumbs. Once done, set aside. Complete the batch
  6. In a wok heat oil and shallow fry the Kababs 2 mins each side. Set aside and complete the batches
  7. Plate, garnish with coriander leaves, sliced onions and enjoy with dips of your choice
